Manager David Holdsworth has moved to sign versatile midfielder Michael Brough on a two month loan deal from Torquay United.

Brough started his career at Notts County and made over 90 appearances in midfield for the Meadow Lane outfit.

The 27 year old had subsequent spells Stevenage Borough, Forest Green Rovers and his current club, Torquay United.

Last month, he re-joined Stevenage in a short loan stint making six starts. but opted to join us after the deal expired.

Brough, who is Nottingham-born,
can also play in the centre of defence.

After putting pen to paper this morning, Brough told mansfieldtown.net:  "It was an easy decision once I spoke to the manager David Holdsworth.

"Once I heard of his ambitions, the decision to come here was a 'no brainer'.

"I'm happy to be back in this area too," he added.
