Striker Rob Duffy and tough tackling midfielder Matt Somner claimed the Stags' Karting title of 2009 on Wednesday afternoon, as morale in the camp grew even higher at Amen Corner Karting in Rufford.

The event, which was generously aided by the Stags Supporters'  Association, was the last gathering of the first team squad before their four week break.

The players were cruising around the circuit for 50 minutes and were split into teams.  Rob Duffy and Matt Somner emerged victorious with the least penalties gained and the best overall time.
