Striker Jefferson Louis has today left Field Mill after his contract expired on 30 April 2008.  Manager Paul Holland has decided not to offer the 28 year old a new deal. 

The powerhouse forward made 14 starts and 4 substitute appearances for us this season, scoring four goals in the process.

Manager Paul Holland told mansfieldtown.net:  "The contract which he originally signed was agreed before I took over the position as manager.  Jefferson now has other irons in the fire and I wish him well."
