We have received a number of telephone calls this morning from supporters who wish to claim a refund from their Dagenham & Redbridge Tickets.
The tickets for the Dagenham and Redbridge match are being sold by the club on behalf of Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club. The income which is receieved as a result of ticket sales is theirs and not ours.
Having completed a sale, we are only acting as agents for Dagenham & Redbridge.
Consequently, we cannot offer any refunds.
As a result of a number of abusive telephone calls and e-mails, the ticket office is closed for today.
Said Chief Executive Stephen Booth: "We would ask all supporters to remember we are only acting as agents of Dagenham & Redbridge and it is most inappropriate to direct abuse at young women in the ticket office.
"We hope all right-minded fans bear in mind the predicament we are in. The tickets are being sold in good faith on behalf of Dagenham & Redbridge and I appeal to people to act responsibly."
He added: "We understand the frustrations of supporters but we are not in a position to offer any refunds."
