John McAliskey and Danny Reet have today left Field Mill.  The duo have had their contracts paid up and leave us with our best wishes.

McAliskey scored two goals in 11 starts for our first team this season, since signing last summer from Huddersfield Town.

Danny Reet has struggled to meet our fitness standards this season and made only three substitute appearances for us during this campaign.

Said Manager Paul Holland:  "We need to offload players in order to bring others in. By paying their contracts up they become free agents, and in the long run it saves the club money."

The duo are now free agents having been released this morning.
