Mansfield Town staged a remarkable second half fightback to record a vital 4-1 victory away at struggling Forest Green Rovers.
Stags turned on the style in the second half as they bombarded the visitors' goal in numbers.
Jon Challinor's long throws caused havoc inside the penalty and the home side eventually caved in as they tried to hold back the tide.
A combination of fine architecture by Ryan Williams, clinical finishing from defender Luke Jones and penetrative attacking play earned the victory, after Stags had fallen behind to a 17th minute Tomi Ameobi goal.
Stags have now registered eight goals in two games, with defender Luke Jones scoring four, all via set-pieces.
The result pushes Mansfield up to fourth, while Forest Green return to the relegation zone, being overtaken by Ebbsfleet who won away at Luton Town.
It was Mansfield who started the brighter in the opening moments with livewire Jake Speight causing the early problems.
It was he who created the first chance of the contest when he laid the ball to Jon Challinor whose shot was blocked inside the opening two minutes.
Speight then fought well to win the ball on the right three minutes later, but as he sent it across goal to Rob Duffy, the linesman's flag was raised.
Michael Brough, returning to the line up along with fellow midfielder Jon Challinor, unleashed fire at goal from 20 yards but Rovers' goalie David Wilkinson was well behind it.
But it was Forest Green who broke the deadlock against the run of play and with their first real charge at goal.
Rovers surged forward and won a free kick after Rob Duffy upended Paul Stonehouse down the left.
Conal Platt delivered a sweet free kick and ex-Stags forward Tomi Ameobi rose highest on the edge of the goal area to head past Alan Marriott with 17 minutes played.
Rovers took great confidence from their advantage and they may have tested Alan Marriott five minutes later, but Luke Jones blocked Danny Powell's low effort from just inside the penalty area.
It temporarily halted Stags' encouraging attacking play, but Speight did well to race past two defenders to win Stags' fourth corner of the match with 32 minutes on the watch.
Ten minutes later and Michael Brough headed over the bar after a flick on from Gary Silk's right wing through.
Then came the turnaround in the second half.
Forest Green were unable to deal with Jon Challinor's long throws and the hosts collapsed when Ryan Williams got in on the act with his sweet set pieces.
Within the first minute of the restart, Chalinor's long throw from the right was headed wide by Rob Duffy.
Ryan Williams had a pot shot at goal on 52 minutes following another throw by Challionor, this time on the opposite wing as Stags continued to press.
Stags began to fire the shots from all angles but Matt Somner's effort on 55 minutes cleared the stadium.
Challinor's third throw of the second half was the best of the trio. As it was launched in from the left, Michael Brough came from nowhere to head narrowly wide from only a matter of yards.
Forest Green failed to learn from Ryan Williams' first corner on 63 minutes and they paid the ultimate price.
The diminutive winger floated the ball into the box and Jones rose well to connect, only to see his effort hacked off the line and behind for another corner.
From the opposite corner flag, Williams delivered and Jones connected once more, this time his bullet-like headed powering into the roof of the net to restore parity.
By now, Stags were bombarding the home defence and they took the lead two minutes later.
It came from another long throw by Challinor from the right and after Luke Foster flicked it on, Rob Duffy was on hand to prod it home and claim his 13th goal of the season in the process.
It was Duffy's first goal since November 28, where he found the net at Ebbsfleet United.
The points were wrapped up by the 76th minute when Ryan Williams was fed down the left. As he advanced goalwards, Williams' timely pass across the face of goal was blasted into the net by Jake Speight.
Soon after the third, Kyle Perry replaced Rob Duffy in attack.
Alan Marriott was called into action for the first time in the second half on 80 minutes - a statistic which reflected Mansfield's second half dominance.
Substitute Reece Styche was denied from close range as Marriott turned it behind for a corner.
With a little over eight minutes to play, Steven Istead, on his return from a loan spell with Alfreton Town, came on for Jon Challinor in midfield. It was Istead's first appearance for Mansfield for over two months.
On 87, Mansfield grabbed their fourth to compound Rovers' misery when Williams' free kick was met by the head of Luke Jones, and his looping header deceived David Wilkinson, caught off his line in the home goal.
Substitute Louis Briscoe then tried his luck in the second minute of stoppage time as Stags flourished with confidence. It rounded off a vintage second half display from the Stags and sets them up nicely for a trip to Wrexham on Tuesday night.
