Our first team players took time out to visit poorly children at King's Mill Hospital yesterday afternoon.
Our award winning Football in the Community department had been collecting gifts for some weeks to give to the children.
Yesterday, our players presented these presents to the children, who will be spending Christmas in hospital this year.
Football in the Community Director Mark Hemingray told mansfieldtown.net: "This is something we do every year and is always very well received by the staff, parents and most importantly - the children.
"The smiles which the players' put on the kids' faces is something to treasure. They feel so excited and happy when they see the first team walk through the door."
