Manager David Holdsworth today revealed the signings of Lee Morris and Andy Burgess will mark the end of our transfer activity for the time being.
The squad's total now stands at 32, seven of whom are out on loan, with another six players on the treatment table.
"At the start of the week I knew who I wanted to bring in, and I've achieved my targets," said Holdsworth.
"We won't be looking to bring anyone else in for a while. I want to try to settle the squad down again now.
"The shake-up I've had to make is important in terms of our progression in the league, I want to win the division if I can."
Holdsworth added: "I'm delighted with the signings, I think that they show the type of quality that we can attract to the football club.
"The capture of Andy Burgess says to me that we can be recognised as a force up there with the 'big guns' in the division."
The Gaffer believes that the stature of our recent signings will send out a message to our rivals.
He said: "If you look at [Michael] Brough, he was at Torquay last year, and this season he has performed admirably at Stevenage before joining us.
"Jon Challinor has an excellent goal-scoring record at this level from midfield, and he's scored one in one already for us.
"Andy Burgess has been player of the season for a number of teams in this division, I can't say how pleased I am with his signing."
"I actually played with Lee Morris when we were both at Sheffield United. He was only a youngster then, but he came in and made a really big impact, and subsequently was involved in a couple of high-profile moves.
"I like Lee's character. He's already showing his ability in training, he's got good feet and he certainly knows where the goal.
Both Morris and Burgess will be eligible to face Ebbsfleet this Saturday. The Fleet are currently languishing 23rd in the league, having failed to register a single home victory this season.
"When you are facing a team around the bottom of the league, you must do the positives, and make sure your standards remain high," said Holdsworth
"Obviously they're having a poor time of things and I feel for their manager, but as much as I like Liam Daish, we will be going down with one thing in mind, and that's to take the three points."
We have no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday's trip to Stonebridge Road.
Kyle Perry (thigh) and Jake Speight (hamstring) remain sidelined through injury.
In better news, Gary Silk is set to return after serving a one match suspension, whilst Gary Mills has returned to training after recovering from a hamstring injury.
