Mansfield Building Society help buy equipment for Community department

Our Football in the Community department has been awarded £300 by Mansfield Building Society's Community Support scheme.

The money was used to purchase an amazing purpose made inflatable football pitch, which will be used by disabled and able-bodied children alike.

Football in the Community director Mark Hemingray thanked Mansfield Building society for their support and admitted the money has been put to good use.

Mark said: "The acquisition of the inflatable pitch has already been well received.

"It will help us to expand our development work for the benefit and enjoyment of local children.

Mansfield Building Society product manager Pete Doherty said that they were delighted to help.

"To get local youngsters involved in playing football, particularly those who are less able-bodied is a tremendous help with their personal development."
