Mansfield Town Football in the Community has answered Fabio Capello's call by announcing plans to organise an England Football Day festivalon 12^th June 2010 to get the football community in Mansfield to play, coach and celebrate football.

MTFC FITC will be throwing open its doors from 9:30am on 12^th June and would like to encourage everyone to come along and get involved in a day full of football fun. England Football Day festivals are taking place across the country culminating in national England Football Day on Saturday 12th June, the day of England's first game of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ against the United States. .

Fabio Capello, England Coach said: "We know the whole of England will be behind us when we compete in the World Cup. Football means a lot to the people of England and England Football Day is your chance to celebrate that. Get involved and enjoy an active role in playing or supporting football in your area."

Open to everyone the England Football Day at MTFC FITC will feature:

A football tournament with the chances to win medals and prize draws for a World Cup trophy all for £10.00. The day will finish at 2:30pm.

Mark Hemingray, the Football in the Community Director said: "To mark the exciting start of England's World Cup campaign we are inviting everyone to come together for England and share in the excitement of our very own England Football Day festival"

Get Into Football and attend the England Football Day at Mansfield Town FITC by heading down to the Community Room at Field Mill and be a part of England's biggest ever celebration of football which will be taking place across England during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
