A full programme of fixtures was played at the weekend followed by a further five games last night as teams start to claw back matches lost to bad weather.

The title race remains as fascinating as ever with Oxford and Stevenage continuing to take turns at the top. Chris Wilder's men stormed back into poll position at the weekend with second half goals from Sam Deering and Matt Green handing them a 2-0 win over Histon before extending their lead to three points courtesy of a 1-0 win over high-flying Rushden last night.

Meanwhile Stevenage were sunk by a late winner from Rushden's Rob Wolleaston on Saturday that saw them drop to second in the league and hand the advantage over to Oxford.

The upset of the weekend came at Ebbsfleet where high-flying York's 11 game unbeaten run came to an end. A single goal from Moses Ashikodi was enough to give his side a fourth win in five games as safety starts to look increasingly likely for the Kent side.

A 1-0 win at Eastboure kept Luton in the play off mix and was the Hatter's seventh consecutive clean sheet away from home followed by last night's clash with York which ended in stalemate as both teams look to consolidate their places in the leading pack.

Kettering kept up the pressure on the fifth play off spot following their 2-0 win at Barrow whilst AFC Wimbledon became the first side not to beat Cambridge in seven games as they drew 0-0. The U's fought back from being 2-1 down and having been reduced to 10 men to rescue a point as they look to reverse their slide towards the drop zone.

At the bottom of the league, Chester were not in action due to their week-long suspension handed down by the Conference for failing to fulfil two of their fixtures whilst none of the other three sides in the bottom four managed to pick up a single point between them. Forest Green were beaten 2-1 away at Kidderminster and Grays suffered their 8th consecutive league defeat at home to Salisbury in front of the division's smallest crowd of the season - 232.

Gateshead were beaten 3-2 by Hayes & Yeading but made amends for it wih a 2-1 home win over Barrow last night.

Last but not least, Altrincham were beaten away 1-0 at Crawley on Saturday but put that behind them to win 3-0 at home to Eastbourne last night.
