Parking:
If you arrive early there is some street parking on the other side of the road from the car showroom by the Turf Pub. Otherwise there a couple of private car parks, charging in the region of £2, including NEWI on the Plas Coch Retail Park. Beware of residents car parking schemes that are in operation on matchdays, if you're thinking of saving yourself the £2.00, make sure you look for any restrictions on lampposts.
Eating out:
One of the favorite home pubs is The Turf which is were the club was originally formed and which lies right behind the Kop, meaning that you can have a quick beer and still make it in before kick off. Otherwise the town centre is about a ten minute walk away, where there are some good pubs to be found and some decent priced places to eat such as Weatherspoons. If you are looking for a restaurant there is a Frankie and Bennys located on the Plas Coch Retail Park.
Mine's a pint:
The Plas Coch Retail Park has a pub called the Plas Coch Public House and is just a five minutes walk away from the ground. There is also the Wrexham Lager Sports and Social Club which is located near the town centre just past the railway. If you don't mind a walk into the town centre then you will find a number of chain and individual pubs.
Stopping over in Wrexham?
Chester is within driving distance and has a good selection of hotels across most price ranges. Within Wrexham itself the is the Wynnstay Arms Hotel, the telephone number is 01978 291010. There are also a few budget bed and breakfasts in Wrexham. Or you could stay at the Travelodge which is located just two miles away from the ground.
Travel information
Car:
The Rasecourse Ground is located on the Mold Road which links the town centre to the A483 Wrexham bypass and which in turn connects the A5 and the M56. You are best using the M54, A5 and onto the A483 towards Wrexham until the A541 junction when you should go right round the roundabout then carry on over the second roundabout, and the ground should be apearing on your left hand side.
Train:
With the stadium only a short walk from the town centre and the main station as it is nearly next to the stadium. It is also served by trains from many places.
