Cambridge,
CB24 9PH
Distance to ground:
100.2 miles
Parking:
There is no car parking available at the ground for visiting supporters. However there are four car parks around the ground that can be used which are located on Station road. Leave the A14 at the B1049 roundabout, then follow the arrows for the car parks. Street parking is also available.
Eating out:
If you have a bit of time to kill then you could go into the centre of Histon where a number of pubs can be found on the high street, including The Boot Inn, Torse and Crown and The Red Lion. Around a five minute walk from the ground is the Railway View which does two meals for £5.00 and serves good food, you can also park your car here for the duration of the match.
Mine's a pint:
The nearest pub is called the Railway Vue on Station Road. It is about a five to ten minute walk away. From the entrance of the ground turn right and head along Bridge Road. Turn left at the next set of traffic lights and then left again into Station Road. The pub is down on the left and there is plenty of street parking in this area.
Stopping over in Histon?
There is a Travel Lodge located just under four miles away from the ground, the telephone number for the hotel is 0871 984 6101. There is also a Holiday Inn which you will drive past to get to the ground. This is situated just under one mile away from the ground.
Travel information
Car:
Histon is situated just north of Cambridge. The ground is located on the outskirts of the nearby village of Impington. Leave the M11 and take the A14 towards Newmarket. At Junction 32 take the B1049 towards Histon. You will pass a Holiday Inn on your right and then the road goes over an old railway line. The entrance to the ground is just down on the right, just before the pedestrian crossing. If you start driving past houses then you have gone too far.
Train:
There is no longer a railway station in Histon. The nearest station is in Cambridge, around three miles away, so you would therefore be best to get a taxi from the train station to the ground.
