Saturday 1 March 2008| kick off: 3pm
Racecourse Ground, Mold Road, Wrexham, LL11, 2AH
In and around the Racecourse Ground
The Racecourse Ground is a classic looking football ground and has a great blend of both the old and the new. The Mold Stand has an interesting design to it and is the most modern stand in the stadium. To show how times have changed and the amount of all seated stadiums that there are now, Wrexham now boasts the largest terrace in the league, with the Kop Terrace having a capacity of 4,000. This stand is a throw back to when every ground had a similar kind of terrace and even the crowd barriers are painted in the club colours of red & white.
Away fans are located in the upper tier of the Eric Roberts Builders Stand. This stand has an allocation of 2000 with a further 1000 available if required. In this stand there are a couple of supporting pillars which lead to some areas of the stand having a restricted view. Once inside the away end of the ground the usual selection of hot and cold snacks and drinks will be available.
For a drink before the match there is a pub on the corner of the ground called 'The Turf'. This pub does allow away supporters but only in small numbers so arrive early. For another option try a five minute walk into the town centre where you will find more pubs in ratio to the population than in any other town in Britain.
