We are pleased to announce that Bolton Wanderers will visit One Call Stadium in July as part of our pre-season schedule.
Relegated from the Championship last season, the Trotters will travel to Mansfield on Saturday 16 July (3pm kick-off) as they warm up for their first season in the third tier of English football since the 1992/93 campaign.ÂAfter spending 11 seasons in the Premier League between 2001 and 2012, Bolton have plied their trade in the Championship for the last four years before finally succumbing to relegation last season amidst financial insecurity which led to the sale of the club.Â
The consortium Sports Shield, headed by former Bolton striker Dean Holdsworth, purchased the club in March 2016 after previous owner Eddie Davies wiped off over £170m worth of debt owed to him.Â
