Stags v Spireites ticket policy reminder

7 October 2013

We would like to remind supporters of our ticketing policy ahead of Tuesday’s local derby against Chesterfield in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Second Round (7.45pm).

After police advice, the deadline for ticket sales at One Call Stadium is 4pm on Tuesday 08 October. There will be no tickets for sale after this point.

The match is an ALL-TICKET tie and there will be no cash turnstiles in operation at One Call Stadium on the night.

All spectators must be in possession of a valid match ticket before entering the stadium. Allocated seating is also in operation.

Tickets are currently on general sale for Stags' supporters and can be purchased at the ticket office, priced as follows:

£15: Adults
£10: Concessions (Senior Citizens (60+), Students with a valid NUS card)
£5: 7-16yrs

Children aged six and under are admitted free-of-charge, on the provision that they are accompanied by a responsible adult.  Home fans are reminded that the H Block in Ian Greaves Lower Tier is designated as our family area.

Chesterfield’s allocation of tickets for the North Stand have now sold out and visiting fans without a valid match ticket must not travel to the stadium.

Home supporters should be aware that there will be no access to the ground via Portland Retail Park for this game and should enter the ground via Quarry Lane.

A Mansfield Town club spokesman said:  “We know that the overwhelming majority of supporters attending the match will behave responsibly and enjoy themselves.

"We would like to assure supporters that we will take firm action against anyone whose inappropriate behaviour threatens to spoil the occasion for the vast majority of law-abiding and well behaved fans.”

In conjunction with Nottinghamshire Police, we will take a zero-tolerance approach on potential pitch incursions.

A club spokesman added: “Supporters are to be aware that it is an arrestable offence to incur on to the pitch.  We understand that this match is a passionate fixture, but would warn fans against pitch incursion as this will result in their arrest by the police and a banning order issued by the club."
