Mansfield Town Ladies will be looking to progress to the semi-finals of the County Cup when they face Nottingham Forest Reserves on Sunday.
After triumphing over Arnold Town on Wednesday night at One Call Stadium, Lewis Saxby’s side will be aiming to move a step closer to silverware by beating a Nottingham Forest side who currently sit second in their respective league.
Goals from Androulla Kokkinou and Abbey Hawkins were enough to dispose of a spirited Arnold side as the Ladies aim to reignite their title charge in the second half of the season.Â
The Stagettes have won six of their last eight matches and will travel to Nottingham in high spirits after scoring 11 goals in their last two matches and are still on course to win the treble this season – with Saxby’s side facing Moulton in the quarter finals of the League Cup in two weeks as well as still being involved in the title race.Â
