Sleep out for the homeless!

12 February 2016

Come and sleep outside at One Call Stadium as part of Framework’s ‘The Big Snore’ on Friday 11 March.

The event starts at 7pm and the charity are asking people to brave the elements and sleep in the car park at One Call Stadium whilst getting sponsored to do so!

The evening will consist of music, food and entertainment prior to the participants taking on the freezing cold temperatures for a night of ‘sleeping rough’.

Framework are an East Midlands-based charity who specialise in helping homeless people find housing, preventing homelessness and promoting opportunities for vulnerable and people to change their lives.

Their most effective tool for helping homeless people is the emergency accommodation on Sherwood Street in Mansfield. With the number of homeless people continually rising, the funds from 'The Big Snore' will go towards a dedicated ‘move-on’ service to support people as they move from Sherwood Street into independent housing.

Anyone wishing to take part will be required to register and pay a £5 fee to receive your fundraising pack.

To take part in ‘The Big Snore’ or for more information, please visit Framework’s website
