Six changes for Pompey game

Fitzpatrick given first start in Football League.

Manager Adam Murray has made six changes to his starting line-up for today’s Sky Bet League Two game with Portsmouth.

Teenage playmaker Joe Fitzpatrick is given his first start in professional football, whilst right-back Liam Marsden and goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley also return to the starting line-up.

Australian left-back Callum Elder also returns, having missed the game at Cambridge United through injury, whilst Matt Rhead is named up front.

The other player to be named in the starting XI is Rakish Bingham, who was on the score-sheet last time out.

Young defender Corbin Shires is named amongst the substitutes.

Kick-Off at One Call Stadium is at 3.00pm.

Team: Pidgeley, Marsden, Sutton, Tafazolli, Elder, Thomas, Clements, Fitzpatrick, Bingham, Brown, Rhead. Subs: Studer, Hearn, Shires, McGuire, Lambe, Oliver, Heslop.
