Eight local primary schools will next week compete to win the inaugural John Radford Trophy at One Call Stadium.
The six-a-side tournament, set up and organised by our Football in the Community department, will begin on Monday 31 March.
Four schools will compete against each other on Monday and Tuesday in a league format, with the winners of each division going head to head at half time during our first team fixture at home to Torquay United on Saturday 26 April.
Schools competing, are, in no particular order: St Philip Neri with St Bede, Holly, King Edward, St Peters, Sherwood Junior, Forest Town, Mansfield Primary Academy and Sutton Road.
