Young pupils achieve glory in augural cup competition.
Samuel Barlow School recently became the first-ever winners of the new exciting schools football tournament for pupils in years three and four.Our Football in the Community department decided to organise a brand-new schools competition and named it after there vehicle sponsor, Vauxhall Pentagon.
Eight schools participated in the group stages of the inaugural competition with Samuel Barlow School and Peafield Lane Academy progressing to the Final.
The Vauxhall Pentagon Cup Final was played at half-time of our pre-season friendly with Notts County at One Call Stadium.
The youngsters were a credit to their respective schools, and Samuel Barlow emerged victorious following a tense penalty shoot-out.

Jo Gee, from Vauxhall Pentagon, was in attendance at a recent assembly to present the school and the team with their medals and trophy.
