Second-string succumb to 4-0 defeat in the North-East.
Our second-string were unable to claim any points as they succumbed to a 4-0 defeat to Gateshead in their meeting at the International Stadium this afternoon.
The hosts were two goals up early on courtesy of strikes by Tom Allan and Carl Finnigan, before Jake Orrell added a third goal in the early stages of the second half.
Tom Marshall then completed the scoring with a fine strike, three minutes from time.
Our reserves will be hoping to return to winning ways when Hartlepool United make the journey to North Nottinghamshire later this week.
