The 31-year-old is set to enter his third season at One Call Stadium, after signing on a free transfer from Fleetwood Town.He made 31 appearances last season, scoring the Stags' final goal of the League Two campaign away at Accrington Stanley in a 2-1 loss.
âMy intention was always to sign,â said McGuire. âI have enjoyed these last two years. Weâve had our ups and downs but Iâve loved every minute of it.
âIâm looking forward to the new season ahead and being involved in the gafferâs new project."
Manager Adam Murray said:Â âJamie has built a real bond with the club.
âHe acts like the glue in the dressing room because of his personality and character. He came to the forefront last season during some tough times. He is a good presence in our community, and adds what weâre trying to do in the local community.
âHe offers grit and determination and wants to be a part of what weâre doing here.
âJamieâs a good person and he cares, and thatâs a big thing for me,â he added.
