Match referee Lee Swabey will conduct the pitch inspection at 2pm after heavy rain has cast the game into doubt.
A Hereford United statement read: Â "An initial inspection has taken place this morning, with the pitch deemed playable at present, based on the current weather conditions, and the course of action that the groundstaff are currently undertaking.Â
"However, with rain forecast throughout the afternoon problems may occur later.Â
"The groundstaff are currently working on a few problem areas of the pitch, and will continue to do so throughout the day."
