Teenager puts pen-to-paper on professional deal after impressing at youth level.
Youngster Anthony Dwyer has signed his first professional contract following an impressive year at youth level.
The 18-year-old, known as ‘Neilo by his team-mates, scored six goals in the Football League Youth Alliance– including a strike against Notts County in the final game of the season.
He also gained imperative experience following a loan spell with Evo-Stik Division One (South) outfit Carlton Town.
Manager Adam Murray said: “’Neilo’ is another one of the young starlets that we are privileged to have at this football club.
“As well as planning for the immediate future it’s important that we put things in place for the club’s long-term future.
“‘Neilo’ has the raw ingredients that I believe can affect the Football League. With the right work and the right attitude, the sky is his limit.”
