Experienced defender John Dempster is hoping that Stags can soon climb the table with an improved run of results.

Speaking at yesterday's press meeting, Dempster said:  "As a group of players, we have to take responsibility for that [our place in the league].  We should be higher up in in the division, but we're not and we have to do something about it.  

"But it is a long old season and we're desperate for results as much as everybody else.  I think we will be there or there abouts come the end of the season."

"I have a good feeling that we'll start to climb the table.  It's up to us as a group of players.  We can't behind the manager or the supporters.  We need to stick together and just work as hard as we can."
