Club issues apology to season ticket holders

22 August 2014

The club wishes to apologise to season ticket holders, whose season ticket cards were affected by a fault in the turnstile reader before our previous two home games.

It is important from the outset to point out that the season ticket system has been a very welcome development and is one that typically works effectively and seamlessly.

However, it has come to our attention that problems were encountered by some season ticket holders upon entry to One Call Stadium prior to our first two home matches of the season which caused a delay into entry of the ground.

The club was first alerted to the problem after our first home match against Oxford United. After making immediate contact with the relevant companies, the club was informed by subcontractors that a solution was sought and subsequently applied. To the source of much frustration, this turned out not to be fully effective, following a communication fault between two separate systems.

As a consequence, season ticket holders, whose cards were affected by the issues, were asked to return them to the club’s ticket office.  New ticket cards have been re-printed and any previous errors have now been resolved.

Season ticket holders can now collect their cards from the One Call Stadium ticket office, or, if convenient, can receive them via post. Postal deliveries can be set up by contacting the club on 01623 482 482 with your relevant details.

The club again wishes to apologise to season ticket holders; whose patience, understanding and loyalty, we deeply appreciate.
