The Sandy Pate Sports Bar will be screening superb live football throughout the Bank Holiday weekend.
With the penultimate weekend of the Football League season almost here, there are some exciting matches on television with the fate of many sides set to go down to the wire.
SATURDAY LUNCHTIME sees already-relegated Bolton Wanderers host Hull City (12.30pm kick-off) in the Sky Bet Championship, with the latter looking to head into the end of the season play-offs in positive form, with a top two place now out of the question.
On SATURDAY EVENING, Arsenal come up against Norwich City at the Emirates (5.30pm kick-off) as the Canaries look to steer themselves away from the danger zone as Newcastle United and Sunderland below them begin to pick up form.
Following the conclusion of the Gunners’ game, Real Betis then welcome Barcelona in La Liga (7.30pm kick-off) with the Spanish giants looking to resist competition from Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid in the race for the title.
On SUNDAY AFTERNOON, table-toppers Leicester City travel to Old Trafford for the challenge of Manchester United, with the Foxes knowing three points will secure the Premier League title at the home of the country’s most successful club (2.05pm kick-off).
Shortly afterwards, Southampton entertain Manchester City on Sky Sports 1 (4.30pm kick-off) as both teams hope to end the campaign well.
And the top quality entertainment doesn’t end there, with more live football on BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY.
First up, Walsall face Fleetwood Town in the West Midlands in Sky Bet League 1 (12.15pm kick-off) as the hosts seek to keep their slim automatic-promotion chances alive as Burton Albion and Wigan Athletic currently lead the way.
After that, there’s mouth-watering Sky Bet Championship action as Brighton & Hove Albion have a difficult test at home to Derby County (2.30pm kick-off). Both could later pit their wits against each other in the play-offs, but the former still harbour ambitions of a top two place.
The third Football League game of the day sees in-form Burnley come up against Queens Park Rangers at Turf Moor, as top marksman Andre Gray seeks to fire the Lancastrians to the Premier League (4.45pm kick-off).
And to complete a bumper Bank Holiday, underachievers Chelsea welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Stamford Bridge (8pm kick-off), as they look to crush the title dreams of their rivals in the capital.
Supporters are reminded that because it’s Bank Holiday Monday, there will be no ‘An Evening with’, which will be resumed seven days later.
