‘Legends of Darts’ returns to One Call Stadium tonight, as Keith ‘The Fella’ Deller takes on Dennis ‘The Menace’ Priestly, in the Kevin Bird Suite.

The event is the latest in the highly successful series which has seen the likes of Bobby George, Bob Anderson and Eric Bristow take to the oche here at One Call Stadium.

The ‘Legends of Darts’ evening is sponsored by Greene King IPA and will be held on Friday 07 November. Doors open at 7.00pm with tickets priced at £15, which includes a basket meal.

‘The Fella’ is a previous BDO World Champion, beating Eric ‘The Crafty Cockney’ Bristow in a thrilling 6-5 victory back in 1983. Deller now works as a ‘Spotter’ for Sky Sports where he uses his knowledge and experience to work out for the camera crew where players will be aiming with their next dart.

Deller’s opponent, Dennis ‘The Menace’ Priestly is a two-time World Champion as he became the first player to win both the BDO and PDC World Titles as he emphatically beat Eric Bristow and Phil Taylor 6-0 and 6-1 respectively. 

The pair previously met in the 1998 when ‘The Menace’ beat ‘The Fella’ 5-1 to reach the PDC World Championship final but was beaten by Phil Taylor with whom he enjoyed a fierce rivalry over a career spanning more than twenty years.
