With a capacity of 8,127, Abbey Stadium is the club’s home ground and it opened in 1932. Their feeder club Cambridge Regional College also played there, before their dissolution in 2014.

Fans travelling to Cambridge can go with the Stags Supporters’ Association, which always has a pleasant atmosphere.     

The coach will depart at 10.30am and prices are as follows: 

Amber/junior members: £15 

Blue members: £20

Fans making the journey on the road from One Call Stadium are advised to get on the A1 from the A617, before following the A14 to Cambridgeshire. Take exit 34, and then continue on B1047 to Newmarket Road in Cambridge which will lead you to your destination.

Making your way by train means a three-hour trip with two changes, at Nottingham and Ely respectively, with a return adult ticket costing £55.50.    

The two-mile walk to the ground will take around 30 minutes or you can catch a taxi, which costs around £9.

There is limited parking available on the streets surrounding the stadium, or alternatively some off-road car parking is free behind the ground, on Coldhams Lane.

We have been allocated over 600 tickets in the South Stand for our Sky Bet League Two match and supporters can now purchase their tickets from our ticket office on Quarry Lane in person, or over the phone by calling 01623 482 482.

Supporters will also be able to purchase tickets on the day, directly from Cambridge United. 

Adults: £20

Concessions (64+, student, young adult (18-21)): £15

Under 18s: £10

Under 5s: FREE

All tickets will be subject to a £2 increase on the day.

Disabled supporters and their carers are eligible to purchase tickets in the relevant age-related category with a free carer ticket if those supporters receive the middle or higher rate of Disability Living Allowance. 

Wheelchair users will be required to pay £15, with a carer free of charge. Wheelchair users will need to purchase tickets in advance from Cambridge United by calling 01223 566 500.

Stags’ fans can arrange to collect their tickets from Cambridge United by informing our ticket office whilst purchasing.

Tickets will go off-sale at 4pm on Friday 20 January.

The Wrestlers pub along Newmarket Road offers great Thai food or another option is The Tram Depot, which is a venue known for its character and broad selection of drinks. It is just a 20-minute walk from the ground.

The last meeting between the sides was a frustrating draw at One Call Stadium in September 2016. No one could find a winner on a wet and windy day in north Nottinghamshire, in a game of few chances.

The total distance between One Call Stadium and Abbey Stadium is 105 miles when you go via the A1, which takes two hours and five minutes, approximately.
