We are delighted to announce that local recruitment specialists Senior Salmon have joined the club as a new commercial partner.
Senior Salmon offer a flexible, bespoke recruitment service which is specific to each clients’ needs. They specialise in recruitment for commercial, industrial, driving and engineering sectors as they look to place people with specialised talents into specific roles.
They were named as the Chad’s Small Business of the Year in 2014 and turned over £4m in just their second year of trading.
Martyn Salmon, director at Senior Salmon, says the partnership is a dream come true, especially for his business partner, lifelong Stags’ fan Jamie Senior.
“Senior Salmon are incredibly proud to work in partnership with Mansfield Town. Jamie Senior is a lifelong Mansfield Town supporter and the opportunity to be involved in our local club was an opportunity we didn’t want to miss out on,” Martyn said.Â
“We already support two local football teams with sponsorship and feel a partnership with the club demonstrates our commitment to the area. Like Mansfield Town FC we believe in supporting local businesses, with this partnership more people will be aware of our award winning business.”
The partnership has been agreed for a minimum of two years and Martyn hopes to progress in the future to sponsor both the Stags’ youth section and the first team.
“Our hope going forward is with our sponsorship the club can continue to invest in its youth and first team.
“Our plan is to reward our own, long standing, local companies and clients with matchday hospitality. This may in the future give the club further sponsorship opportunities from the local area.”
The local recruiters hope to reach out to a larger demographic of people through the partnership and help more people get their dream jobs.
“If, from this partnership we are able to assist one person find their dream job then it has been money well spent.
“We believe our role in the community is to help find, and retain, sustainable long term work. With the excellent companies we work with in the area we are in a great position to do this.”
