Boss Adam Murray has told mansfieldtown.net that his players have begun pre-season in fine form, after reporting back to training yesterday at Brooksby College, Leicester.
The day started with a team meeting yesterday morning, with Adam Murray's squad in attendance along with the manager's backroom team.Later that morning, the players' endured a demanding bleep test as well as being examined by the club's medical department.
The squad then enjoyed a training session in the afternoon.
"We are extremely pleased with the condition and mentality in which the players have returned to pre-season," said manager Adam Murray.
"Pre-season is always a grueling time and after gauging the results from our first day of pre-season, I am pleased to note that preparations for 2016-17 have got off to a positive start."
