Plenty of live football in Sandy Pate Sports Bar this week!

5 December 2016

The final round of Champions League group stage matches take place this week and the Sandy Pate Sports Bar is the ideal place to watch the action unfold!

Middlesbrough and Hull City take centre stage on MONDAY as they face each other in the Premier League from 8.00pm.

Then on TUESDAY, it's make or break time in the Champions League for a number of clubs, however the English sides' future is all but confirmed.

Arsenal travel to FC Basel (7.45pm kick-off) as they look to secure top spot in group A with both the North London outfit and French champions PSG locked on 11 points each.

Also on TUESDAY, Manchester City host Celtic in their final group as they aim to fend off Borussia Moenchengladbach and hold on to that second spot in group C.

Both matches will be screened LIVE in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar from 7.45pm.

On WEDNESDAY, our weekly poker night takes place with a £5 buy-in from 8pm but that's not all. Another Champions League double-header graces our screens as Tottenham take on CSKA Moscow with the winner securing a Europa League spot, whilst champions Leicester travel to Portugal to face FC Porto, however the Foxes have already secured their top-of-the-group finish.

Again, we will be showing both matches LIVE in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar from 7.45pm.

Moving on to THURSDAY and the final round of Europa League matches are on offer to visitors to the bar.

Manchester United travel to Zorya Luhansk and they are needing to win to have any chance of topping the group and the match will kick-off at 6pm.

Then at 8.05pm, Southampton welcome Hapoel Beer Sheva to St Mary's knowing that they only need to avoid defeat to progress to the next round of the competition.

Finally on FRIDAY, there's a mouth-watering tie at the top of the Championship as Brighton and Hove Albion welcome Leeds United at 7.45pm as both sides look to continue their respective good run of form.

As always, we'll be serving breakfast on FRIDAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY between 8am and 11am in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar.
