Goal machine Green features in The Stag

27 October 2016

Supporters attending this Saturday's Sky Bet League Two match against Stevenage will be able to read a feature-length interview with striker Matt Green in our matchday programme, The Stag.

Top scorer Green speaks of the influence of first team coach Karl Hawley who helped him both mentally and technically during the frontman's spell on the substitutes' bench, further to commenting on the quality of the Stags' squad.

Furthermore, manager Adam Murray writes about a 'big focus' which he's put on the next couple of weeks with the chance for Stags to progress in the Emirates FA Cup and the Checkatrade Trophy, whilst also continuing their good league form.

Does anyone really know the offside rule properly? Supporters who purchase a copy of The Stag will be able to educate themselves on it further by reading our Laws of the Game feature on page 13.

Also in The Stag, there's a bumper seven-page dossier on this weekend's visitors Stevenage, including all you need to know about the town, the players and the coaching staff at the Lamex Stadium.

Supporters can take a trip down memory lane in The Stag by browsing our Scrapbook, which features newspaper cuttings from the 1987 Freight Rover Trophy success, plus much more historical content.

The Stag will be available to purchase for just £3 from the club shop, the merchandise stall, or one of our many programme vendors located around One Call Stadium.
