After leaving Accrington Stanley at the age of 16, centre-half Morgan Ratcliffe joined Stags and was an integral part of their Football League Youth Alliance title-winning campaign.

Ratcliffe is a ball-playing centre-half who shows great calmness on the ball and can bring his team-mates in to play with a range of short and long passes. 

The 17-year-old is quick across the ground and reads the game well, allowing him to prevent an opposition attack from becoming a goalscoring chance.
